By using the NJM website, booking or purchasing a session, or participating in NJM services, you agree to these Terms.

1Pilates Services

NJM provides private and small-format, instructor-led Pilates and movement instruction by scheduled appointment. NJM is not an open-access fitness facility, and clients do not have independent access to the studio or its equipment. Sessions may include use of reformers, chairs, props, weights, and other exercise equipment.

Sessions are offered by appointment only at a private residential studio. Clients are expected to respect the privacy of the residence, property, and surrounding neighborhood.

NJM reserves the right to decline, cancel, or discontinue a booking or session when reasonably necessary for safety, inappropriate conduct, violation of these Terms, or other legitimate business reasons.

2Health & Medical Considerations

Clients are responsible for informing NJM of injuries, surgeries, pregnancy, medical conditions, physical limitations, pain, or other circumstances that may affect safe participation.

NJM provides Pilates and movement instruction and does not provide medical care, physical therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice. Clients should consult an appropriate healthcare professional when medically advisable before beginning or continuing an exercise program.

3Assumption of Risk

Physical exercise carries inherent risks, including muscle soreness, strains, sprains, falls, aggravation of existing conditions, and other injuries.

By participating, you voluntarily accept these inherent risks and agree to exercise within your own abilities and limitations. You should stop exercising and notify your instructor if you experience pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath, or significant discomfort.

Participation may also require completion of a separate Participant Waiver and Release.

4Scheduling, Cancellations & No-Shows

Appointments are confirmed through the NJM website, booking platform, or directly with NJM.

At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled session and no-shows may be charged the full session fee at NJM’s discretion.

If the online system does not permit cancellation within 24 hours, clients should contact NJM directly.

If NJM needs to cancel or reschedule a session, reasonable notice will be provided when possible, and any applicable payment will be credited or refunded.

5Payments & Packages

Payment may be required at booking or according to the terms shown at the time of purchase.

Online payments are processed through Stripe or another third-party payment processor used by NJM. NJM does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.

If NJM offers session packages, any expiration dates or package conditions will be disclosed at purchase. Completed sessions are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

6Minors

Individuals under 18 may participate in NJM services only with prior NJM approval and the consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian may be required to complete applicable forms and waivers.

7Changes to These Terms

NJM may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the website with an updated effective date.

8Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
